- Athletes must weight in prior to start lifting to confirm weight class
- All athletes must pick their snatch opener before the first athletes starts lifting, this is to organize the order at which the athletes will lift
- The athletes order will be by sex and from lighter to heavier loads. There will be 2 bars setup, one for female and one for male athletes. The weight can only go up. Only one athlete at a time will lift, alternating with female and male
- If the athlete fail their lift, they will be given a 2min rest and redo next in order
- The opener cannot be changed once set
- If an athlete is successful at their lift, the next weight must be selected after the lift
- Athletes are only allowed to change their weights twice for lift 2 and 3, same for the clean and jerk
- The clean and jerk opener will be selected after the snatch
- No other parts of the athlete’s body other than their feet can touch the ground during the lifts. For example, a knee touching the ground would be a no rep
- During the warm up, no bars shall be dropped while another athlete is lifting
- The lifts are complete when the athletes has a straight body, full knees, hips, shoulders and arms locked with the weight in control overhead
- The weight can only be dropped after the master judge give the signal that the lift is good
