Sweet skillz to everyone who came today for the workout. This was a tough one but we all finished.
This is the last week of our strength cycle. Next week is going to be a test week for our Olympic lifts, the snatch and the clean and jerk. Our next cycle is an olympic lifting cycle and you’ll need to know where you’re at for your lifts. We’ll have 2 different dates to allow you to test them before the cycle: Friday sept 2nd and Sunday Sept 4th. The Cycle will go for 8 weeks and will get us right into the Rogue liftoff. Within the Rogue liftoff, Pyro will be hosting it’s own Olympic Lifting meet. Let’s have fun with it. Extra points to those wearing a onesie. More details and specific dates later. For now, let’s focus on being better lifters. Not to worry, traditional CrossFit wods will still be part of the programming. For the most part, you wouldn’t really notice the oly lift cycle, we’ll just be doing more volume than usual and lots accessory work. A lot of time, research and experience is going into the programming, you won’t be disappointed.
