Deload week: Plain and simple, a deload is a short planned period of recovery. You take your training slightly lighter, maybe workout a little less, and generally just ease things back. Not only you take it easier on your body but we’ll have a lighter programming as well. Last week was especially hard with the CANWEST games workout plus the Regionals but we also went through the OPEN not too long ago. Obviously, this doesn’t mean to completely slack off, just dial back a little to allow your body to rebuild muscle fibres, take some tension off the tendons, joints and maybe stretch and roll a little more than usual. Here’s the WOD:
